If he was smart he would come to Auburn, but it almost seems like Oxford pushes players away from AU. He will get a last minute offer from Bama and go join their 10 deep backfield next season.

I think we have a shot but there will be a lot of pressure to just not go to AU. The too much depth is the same situation Bama had with Kwon Alexander.

I think there is a chance of a small...ish class for Bama in '14. They have told WRs they aren't taking many and are even offering a few "role players" to complete the team.

IMO that's why Bama went 0 for 2 in '14 commits at both Junior Days so far, they are being especially picky in what they need. They rain down offers, but everyone knows how that works by now with Bama.

With Roc, it feels like they are putting him in the background until they feel for absolute certain that they are out of it with Fournette...

I think there's a great chance he ends up at Auburn* even if Bama misses with Fournette.

* = Assuming his public statements are truthful.

Auburn has gotten him on campus constantly to show him their plans with him. I'm sure they made him aware of Pettway before he even committed. Bama on the other hand has started reaching out to Nathan Starks, a top back from Nevada, and recently gave out an "offer" to Samaje Perine out of Texas. I think if it keeps trending like it is and there is no hidden agenda, Auburn should be the favorite for Roc.
