Good grab by Butch and staff. Love what he does for us if nothing more than a strong back up option off the bench. I think he can challenge for a starting spot though if he's 100% healthy.

A guy that transfers twice isn't usually a help to the team.

Just saying.

I nearly forgot Auburn was the industry leader regarding the D1 transfer market. Thanks for the insight.

Eh, he's not wrong. Was pushed out by Pruitt at UGA. Followed Grantham to Louisville. Not sure why he's leaving Louisville as I haven't looked to far in to it. But on average, players that transfer multiple times from 4 year schools probably aren't going to do a whole lot for one reason or another.

It's a fair question/concern and one that I have as well. I like him for a few reasons though:

- SEC caliber athlete that when healthy has balled out at both UGA & UL.
- This is his last year of eligibility and last shot to earn a spot in next year's draft class. His sense of urgency needs to be extremely high.
- If nothing else he adds much needed depth at a CB position that is one of the weakest spots on the team right now. Little guy can ball

UGA & UL highlights

I think saying he balled out at UGA is being a little generous. I wish he had stayed and he would probably start for us this year if he had, but he was unspectacular for us outside of those two INT's. The spring he left, he was routinely being passed up on first team reps by JJ Green, who was a converted tailback.

Not sour grapes - he is a good pickup for y'all and I wish he was still with our team.

Was it him or Langley that took the awful angle in the UF game and gave up a 99 yard td? Neither lived up to their hype.

I definitely expect him to make an impact. As depleted and frankly under-performing as our secondary has been he should see serious playing time whether that's as a starter or a guy with meaningful snaps at backup. BUT I wouldn't be surprised to see him start. I'm just hoping that he can beat out Moseley instead of Martin because that will mean Martin has finally decided to use all the damn talent he has at his disposal (he's an NFL talent if he ever puts it together).

Every time I hear that name I throw up in my mouth a little bit.

It was Wiggins (and Mauger) and it was the Gator Bowl against Nebraska. Langley didn't really play much after the LSU game.
