No, he's not. Coker is a winner.

A common theme among the LSU rank and file.

That's a nice way of saying he isn't good but he is on a good team.

It's a nice way of saying that he did enough to beat your asses.

He threw for 184 yards with 0 TD. Most of his passes were within 10 yards. Henry and the O-line won the game.

That's the last thing I was say on that, this thread is about franks, LSU and UF. Not sure why you are even in it.

McElwain has a proven track record with QBs.

The job he did with Grier, the improvement from week to week before the suspension, was impressive.

Franks is a little raw for sure but he has physical attributes and will get great coaching.

Seems Stampini said no commitment happened now, still committed to LSU

Franks is planning on returning to UF for the FSU game later this month.

Am I not allowed to respond when one of yours calls our QB garbage?

And to the OP, any word on how Gavin's visit to UF went?

I don't think Coker threw a pass past 15 yards the whole game,

I remember one that was well overthrown. That's about it.

Yeah Coker did nothing special that game other than not turn it over. It was all Henry and the OL.

As for Franks, Stampini absolutely sensationalized the whole "his mom is lying to LSU mods"

Sonny said this morning on Monday last week his mom told him he didn't have plans to visit elsewhere then on FRIDAY last week UF called and convinced him to come in the following day. So she didn't lie at all, he didn't have plans to visit anywhere until 4 days after she told him about that. So typical click bait Hamm style from Stampini.

So you don't think there's any way he ends up at UF? It's all bs and Franks is a LSU lock (like every other recruit LSU talks too, right?)

Where did I say any of that? Just saying Stampini was being an asshat like he usually is.

As far as Franks doing anything other than coming to LSU, nothing to worry about right now. He made a couple visits, it happens all the time with committed guys. If he re-visits, then I'd start to worry a little more, but until then, Stampini is the only person out there rolling with the "he's flipping to UF" dice.

Technically, that isn't true. A few of the Scout reporters feel like he flips as well.

I agree with you on Stampini being an a-hole.

He has reason to believe Franks is flipping though, because he is thinking Franks visits for FSU, the commitment happens then, and Franks never makes it to his LSU OV. This scenario has been talked about by people in the Franks camp.

It's all a bunch of hearsay and rumors right now, nothing to really go on. Like I said, he makes another visit, we will then start to worry...but, we still have his last visit (and it's a roll out the red carpet official), and right before the dead period. So if he doesnt flip before then, it isn't going to happen because everything will be firmed up after that and he will be enrolling.

Not every LSU fan thinks Franks has flipped. He's pretty solid in my opinion. All of this is rumored.

Not responding directly to you, just in general.

Franks flipping would definitely hurt. Saying otherwise just isn't true.
