He was originally scheduled to visit LSU but apparently Pittman flew out to California today and convinced him to visit UGA next weekend instead. How confident are Bama fans on this one? UGA really needs a LT to step in ready to play next year, I feel like we can essentially offer him the starting spot. I hope we can flip him.

Official visit to Bama last week, he said he was 100% solid and would get to Bama around Jan. 5. LINK

But Baker, a four-star offensive tackle from City College of San Francisco, maintained that he is "100 percent solid" to Alabama after his official visit for the Iron Bowl.

It was Baker's second trip to Tuscaloosa, as he committed to Alabama in early June. He brought his mother, who made her first recruiting trip with Baker.

"I really enjoyed myself," Baker said. "We had a great time. She was blown away by it all."

Baker said he will get to Tuscaloosa around Jan. 5 for the start of the spring semester. Alabama should have one starting tackle spot open as Cam Robinson is likely to skip his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.

Thanks to UGA for paying for Leatherwood to travel to Atlanta to see Bama play in the SEC Championship.

Consider it payback for Smart recruiting Smith to uga while Smart was on Alabama's payroll. Good luck finding OTs this year.

I am not so sure he will end up at Bama.

Baker wants immediate playing time. If we somehow pull off Smith this week (unlikely), then I could see Baker flipping.

UGA has 2 pretty good OT's committed in Andrew Thomas and D'Antne Demery. They are only 4 stars so of course Bama would not be interested, would love to flip Baker but not holding my breath.

Considering you have zero proof do you have another excuse to throw out there?

Take off your red and black glasses. It's obvious what Smart did, and I'm glad someone else is treating him the same if Leatherwood did go to the seccg.

We can definitely offer him immediate playing time. 100% chance he would start at LT for us the next two years.

Leatherwood is just as likely to start at LT from day one at Alabama. Cam Robinson will leave early. And even if Williams moves to LT, there's still a tackle spot open.

Seems a small price to pay for our HC sticking it out through the National title game when he had every reason to leave like Kiffin is doing now.

Considering the score of the Clemson game, not sure he did us a favor by staying.

You're right. You would have been much better off having your DC leave.
