I'm not as down on Mac as TJ is (is anyone?), but I've been on the "McElwain is a terrible recruiter" train for awhile.
I still think he is a decent coach who can coach up lesser-heralded players and actually has a decent eye for underrated guys, but he is not competing with the Alabamas and Ohio States of the world with his 3-star loaded classes.
He'll be a perpetual 8-9 win coach who can't beat the more talented teams on his schedule.

I just don't see how a coach can recruit outside the top 10 at Florida. McE should teach classes on what not to do in recruiting.

TJ, it looks like your buddy ATLGator has finally started to hit the panic button. He's was so optimistic on landing a top 10 class and kept stating stars don't matter just a few days ago. The rankings don't matter to a certain extent but there's a big difference in a top 10 class and whatever UF is now (25ish+) which is something he doesn't know how to grasp. Ole Butterteeth better pull some magic out of his arse quick
