Some think he's the best pass rusher out there this year. I have no earthly idea who could have looked at his highlight video and thought "3 star". His video is ridiculous.

I like his film but I think Jordan Smith out of Georgia has the best DE film in this class. He's a beast.

I'm not. HS coaches in TX think he's about to blow up and shoot up the rankings. Bama's had their eye on him for a while. It was thought that if they gave him a commitable offer, he'd commit on the spot. Not sure why they didn't give him one. That being said, I don't know if that would have even mattered once A&M offered. Who knows? He's a terrific get for you guys in any case.

Rhassan Thornton out of Shoemaker HS in Kileen (same school as Kendall Jones) has equally impressive film, imo....rated a mid/high 3-star kid. He's also a WDE as well....have no idea why more schools aren't in on him more.... (probably a Texas/LSU battle)...some of his plays just make you sit up and say holy shite.
Robinson was a surprise for us. We took Jackson and many thought Robinson was Baylor bound. We offered like 4 simular-type guys after we offered him. Some stuff I read on 24/7 said we want to convert him to an OLB. His tweet following his commitment simply says what won out is that he wants to be in the SEC. His film is really good because he has good burst, and an assortment of moves to get to where he needs to go. He uses his hands well, and doesn't let a lineman get a good blocking angle on him. He's probably a three-star honestly now because honestly in all the major urban areas of Texas, in terms of competition... San Antonio isn't even close compared to Houston, Dallas, or East Texas. But I really like this pickup. Some people had this kid pegged as a huge underrated kid well deserving of a 4-star and in the top-3 pass rushers in the state.

Rahssan Thornton was a guy I was gonna mention when talking about impressive film. He's a great looking edge guy that's terribly underrated. He even sticks out in Kendell Jones' highlights.
Robinson looks like a monster too, looks explosive.
