Update: auburn not prepared to take his commitment until they reevaluate due to the two recent commitments.
------------
The 247sports composite rankings list him as a three-star prospect and the No. 3 center prospect in America for the Class of 2015.

Auburn, Kentucky and Florida State could be seen as the leaders among a top group that also includes Cincinnati, Louisville and Mississippi State. Edwards told AL.com that Alabama never offered Williams a scholarship.

The 6-foot-3 rising senior saw his stock rise with his mano-a-mano battles with Shades Valley five-star Daron Payne at the Nike Football Training Camp back in March at Spain Park.

Stock expected to rise after he competes in the opening next month

Tomorrow.

Seems the abruptness is no coincidence with Auburn filling 2 more spots yesterday. There's no guarantee that a Bama offer(even though Cristobal is pushing), and both classes are filling up fast.

I wonder what this does with Brandon Kennedy, does it push Auburn out if Williams commits? Bama is still having doubts on Dallas Warmack, so I can't see them not taking Kennedy if he wants in. They are however focusing on landing 2 OTs types right now.

And would be the 1st time ever 2 commits for the same school have the same name(albeit different spellings)

Its funny how neither AU or UA wanted the higher ranked Carr but both would not mind having Williams.

I am very curious to see if both Williams and Carr stay ranked where they are currently. I see Carr taking a bit of a dip in the rankings, but Williams might see his fourth star with an impressive camp and a good senior season.

Wasn't Jordan Sims from 2014 ranked as a four star at one time before dropping?

Hopefully it helps lock up Kennedy to Alabama.

I think the rest of the services should have him there as well. Great prospect.

Looks like he may not be able to commit to us tomorrow. The coaches are on vacation and want to re-evaluate things with him when they get back

If that's true then he will probably commit to Florida State tomorrow.

Not sure if he's a take for FSU right now. He may be headed to UK or MSU. I really want him. He has a mean streak on the field in the trenches and perfect size for a center. If he doesn't choose AU tomorrow I assume our coaches will stay in close contact as they watch him progress through these camps and his senior season.

I assume the Alabama staff has held that stance for a while now.

Who does this kid have to marry, frick or kill to get a commitable in-state offer?

Someone with a time machine.

I'm sure Jordan Sims and Spencer Region would like to hop in too. Go back to when they had small windows for instate offers.
