Auburn also made a strong push for Buggs, with Alabama making its push for his services in November. Former LSU special teams coach Bradley Dale Peveto was Buggs primary recruiter at LSU, but he was relieved of his duties shortly after Ed Orgeron was named LSU's head coach.
