With the draft coming up next week, I'd like to track what the potential incoming SEC classes look like, so I'm asking for a little crowdsourcing help.

Can you guys give me a list of your incoming recruits?

Here is LSU's class (with my own personal draft risk assessment):

Riley Pint RHP Lenexa KS St Thomas Aquinas - High
Nonie Williams INF Kansas City KS Home School - High
Zachary Hess RHP Lynchburg VA Liberty Christian - High
Todd Peterson RHP Lake Mary FL Lake Mary - High
Zach Watson INF Ruston LA West Ouachita - Medium
Rankin Woley C Atlanta GA Westminster - Medium
Jake Slaughter INF Monroe LA Ouachita Christian - Medium
Mason Templet INF/C Lafayette LA STM - Low
Josh Smith INF Baton Rouge LA Catholic - Medium
Blair Frederick LHP New Orleans LA Brother Martin - Low
Eric Walker RHP Arlington TX Grapevine - Low
Matthew Beck RHP Alexandria LA Alexandria - Low
Nick Coomes INF/C Baton Rouge LA Catholic LSUE Low
Kyle Weatherly RHP Sachse TX Sachse Grayson College High
Hunter Kiel RHP Florence AL Florence Pensacola State Low
Will Reese RHP Anacoco LA Anacoco - Low

According to Perfect Game Auburn has:

Alex Speas RHP #41 prospect
Davis Daniel RHP #104 prospect
Jordan Balazovic RHP #132 prospect
Trevor Hillhouse LHP
Conor Davis 1B
Edmond Americaan OF
Elliott Anderson LHP
Ryan Watson RHP

Tucker Bradley OF
Christian Camacho RHP
Cole Ganopulos LHP
Joe Gahm RHP
Carter Byrd C

13 total, 9 pitchers.

I have no idea who is expected to come to school this year, but I would imagine the 3 guys that are ranked are not coming.

Draft prospects come from Baseball America.

I know a high ranked guy (not top 100) being looked at in the 5th round range but he's not going to sign without a huge overslot offer. He's set on going to Arkansas.

It is difficult to keep up with if you aren't actively keeping up with it.

To be fair, the baseball recruiting sites are terrible so it's hard to keep up with it. Even the MLB draft stuff is awful in comparison.

We heard the same about Mac Marshall from someone that personally knew him. He even enrolled, then still skipped out.

It's difficult for sure. Even now Perfect Game has like 3 guys listed for LSU that aren't coming to LSU. And doesn't have like 3 others that are committed.

Don't even get me started on finding JUCO commits to 4 year schools.

Yeah, it's a tough choice. Some kids are turning down a half a mil or more to go play college ball when they could go straight to the minors. My wife teaches with this kids mom and we were having drinks a few weeks ago and she was confident he was going to play college ball. He wants to pitch in the SEC and they are originally from Arkansas.

I would love for this guy to turn down MLB, but that is a pipe dream I know.

Riley Pint is gone and he is going to be a beast. They say there is some effort in his delivery but man he brings the heat.

Just the ones that are ranked by at least one of the services:

Missouri RHP Tyler Benninghoff - 120 (BA), 225 (PG)

California OF Dominic Fletcher - 203 (BA), 231 (PG)

Illinois RHP Brenden Heiss - 310 (PG)

Kansas LHP Lucas Krull - 402 (PG)

Illinois OF Jordan McFarland - 383 (PG)

Wisconsin C/OF Ben Rortvedt - 69 (BA), 71 (PG), 52 (MLB)

Nebraska SS Cole Stobbe - 139 (BA), 81 (PG), 69 (MLB)

Stobbe and Rortvedt are probably going to be the toughest to get to campus. We need this class to come through in a big way if we want to turnaround the bad season we had this year.

Others:

Texas OF Sammy Blair
Illinois SS Matt Burch
Florida LHP Matt Cronin
Arkansas RHP Angus Denton
Tennessee SS Jack Kenley
Missouri RHP Jacob Kostyshock
Arkansas LHP Evan Lee
Kansas LHP Blake Lillis
Texas SS Jaxon Williams
Arkansas RHP Zach Jackson
Arkansas LHP Dylan Thompson
Arkansas C Ben Bailey
Arkansas LHP Harrison Hefley
Louisiana LHP Jackson Rutledge
Oklahoma (JUCO) SS Hunter Wilson
Kansas (Iowa JUCO) SS Jared Gates
Kansas SS Alex Ronnenbaum

Go ahead and take Riley Pint off your board boys going top 6 without a doubt.

He's getting paid.

Yeah I thought it was a very young inexperienced team, you getting rid of 2/3's of them?

Dont you have only like 1 guy going pro early (Jackson) and barely any seniors?

Bonfield is a draft eligible sophomore but I think he's leaning toward staying.

Both of our middle infielders were seniors along with our catcher and a part-time starter at 1B in Gassaway. But yeah overall we were pretty young, still need all the extra pitching we can get.

Marshall THOUGHT he wanted to go to college until the Astros offered him a ton of money, then the deal fell through because they couldn't sign Aiken. He probably figured what's the point of going to school when I can get paid now.
