Any indications from this on how the staff feels about Cam Robinson? I realize Bam takes him if he wants to be at Bama but is this a sign on where they feel we sit with him?

I know skill positions define a class but give me a stout front line on both sides of the ball and we can make average rb look great. Good thing is Bama hasn't had an average rb since 07.

I think the staff was up in the air about offering because looks like he isn't a Jan enrollee (which is usually a JuCo must) but staff felt like he was good enough in his own right to offer (Bama was where he wanted to be based on his interviews etc, committed to UCLA when Bama didn't offer)

This might say more about Damien Mama (who we were likely not going to get anyway)

He also held offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida, Oregon, USC and Texas A&M, among others. He plans to graduate in December and enroll at Alabama in January.

I think he's working toward graduating in December but it's still very much undecided. Like bucc said, we told him we still want him regardless.

Must have been Cameron robinson's backup plan.

I wasn't aware that Cam was going to play RG or RT for us.

Negative he's either a RT or OG, and yes a 6'7 OG

meh, he's a 6'7 315 former basketball player and admitted in at least 1 article over the last month cristobal was looking at him for LT.

If bama misses on robinson some how, this kid could easily play LT.

Or he was taken to slide in at LT if a freshman isn't ready to take over for Cyrus Kouandjio, otherwise he's a RG/RT. We take a JuCo nearly every year. This isn't the ripple effect you're trying to convince yourself of.

I'm not trying to convince myself of anything. The kid has mentioned UA talked to him about playing LT. The backup plan comment was merely a joke and apparently it really offended you.

Sorry.

Some of my fellow Bama brethren fall so easily for bait like this. One small comment and suddenly there's 3 or 4 responses disproving this obvious troll.
