Transferred in from Ole Miss. Wanted to be closer to home.

Started as a Freshman last year for them I believe. Have to give credit to Freeze for granting him a release to A school in the same division as him. Most coaches wouldn't do that.

If he is walking on, he didnt grant him a release.

I'm anxious to see the day he lines up across from the OM front 7 wearing that AU jersey. Will be fun to watch

If he is walking on, don't think a release is necessary.

Either way, good get for AU, will provide some nice depth.

Yes you have to grant them a release. If no release is granted then you have to sit 2 years instead of 1 year.

And we just quit recruiting after 2013, so yeah, you're probably right. No more DL after Nkemdiche.

And kudos for spelling his name right while simultaneously raping the English language in the rest of your post.

I can't believe after we flew him out to California for the BCSNCG game and covered his hotel room he did this to us.

Unless we didn't cover those expenses... In which case there's serious grounds for tampering... Meh... I'm sure his parents sprung for it.

False. If he was on scholarship this would be true. By walking onhe gets around this. You would think the Aubs would understand how this works. Corey Grant did the same thing.

I get what you're saying, but to pretend like the team won't know the situation is a bit of a stretch don't ya think?

Grant was forced to sit two years because Saban didn't grant a release. Golson only has to sit one.

Not sure Freeze granted him anything. If he decides to walk on, I don't think there is anything Freeze can do to stop it. Just like Saban couldn't stop Corey Grant from walking on at Auburn

I guess I'm wrong. I thought he sat in '12.

Sorry for giving any credit to Hugh Freeze

Kid has all the talent but will never make it. He ran at the first sight of adversity. Hated Tunsil got all the spotlight. Good luck to him moving forward. I can't wait to see Nkemdiche, McDowell, Gross, and Johnson feast on Golson in 2015.
