Who cares? He was never coming anyway. Begging some 17 year old kid to attend your college is ridiculous enough anyway, but it is especially ridiculous to waste your time doing that when he has zero intention of actually coming

I haven't heard any specific examples. Probably some bs excuse because the writer who put that out knows he was never coming to Auburn anyway

There are a lot of 2 and 3 star recruits who are delusional enough to think they are NFL players. If you refuse to recruit anybody who has a high opinion of themselves, you are severely restricting your talent pool

Oh yeah, if you read that entire article from the Auburn rivals site, the writer even says he expects Mack Wilson to end up at Alabama

He can do whatever he wants, but your reasoning is bullshite. Alabama's entire team hadn't been any good for several years prior to Saban's arrival, but I doubt you would have made the statement about them

wilson is a good fit in pretty much any defense. he has size, speed, range, coverage ability, and is strong against the run. he has a complete skillset. and its silly to say hes not a fit for a scheme that is derivative of the one bama runs, which i can tell you he is a good fit for. he probably said some stuff to other recruits that auburn didnt like while on campus
