Who thinks T.Moultry could be one of the most talented LB's to ever come through Auburn?? He's going to wreak havoc in the very near future!!!

Clearly an alter. Not even trying to hide it.

It does, but there are people like that.

Safe to say we all probably take football more seriously than the average bear. We're here aren't we?

He absolutely could be. But he's a FR. Being one of the greats is a lot to put on a FR. I bet he contributes this year tho.

The problem is he is at Auburn.

Auburn doesn't develop LB anymore, so he is as good as he will be right now.

Anywhere else, he would be a all American and 1st round pick.

Good, but not elite.

Tre Williams has not reached his true potential at Auburn.

Had he gone to Bama, he would have been next Foster, Ragland, Mosely, etc.

Same with Moultry.

So what your saying is Bama had never had a bust at LB and that your coaching is the difference between a player reaching their full potential then any other SEC level coaching?

The bama is strong with this one

Surely you don't think that Auburn D last year was because of Steele? Auburn will run him out of town within two years.

I guess Kirby Smart deserves all the credit for last years Alabama defense.

I mean, who else can we thank?

Obviously Will Muschamp laid the ground work, but Auburn's defense in 2016 was better than it was in 2015. And it's not like Will Muschamp recruited all of those players. Auburn has had Ted Roof, BVG, Ellis Johnson, Will Muschamp and Kevin Steele since 2011...

Our defense got worse in most of the advanced stats the one year Muschamp was here. You could see the improvement by the naked eye, though. Steele built on that and did a great job. Muschamp and Steele both coached Ellis Johnson's players essentially outside of our CBs

I saw the Auburn defense get better and better as the 15 season with on.

I saw the Auburn defense regress as the 16 season with on.
They shut down Clemson game 1 and get run off the field by Bama and their true freshman QB and Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl.

Has Tre Williams been injured for 3 years?

Our defense was pretty inconsistent the back half of 2015. Lights out for a game, and struggled the next. Defense gave up 1 more point to Bama in 16 than in 15 and held Georgia to 7 fewer points in 16 than 15. So, frankly your example of looking at just a single point is worthless. That 2015 defense also gave up 54 points to Arkansas. Most points given up by 2016 defense was 35 to Oklahoma. The 2016 defense played well to end the season. The offense completely abandoned them.

He's had the injury bug both of the past two years. He also has not been able to crack the starting lineup consistently. He has received the exact same coaching as everyone else. I love Tre, but your argument is nonsensical and is better served for the rant not the recruiting board.

Why are you all arguing with an idiot?... You're not gonna change his distorted opinion of AU. Trying to explain to him an auburn defense regressed while not allowing an offensive touchdown on the road to UGA in the 2nd to last game of the season is pointless.
