It was until Bama became such an unstoppable recruiting force that they didn't really need to recruit in-state that much

Fox is being pushed to Bama although he really likes AU. Watch out for Tae Provens from Huntsville as a big battle. Both teams have picked up their interest lately and want him to camp. High on UT right now and most likely landing spot if AU/UA don't push for him although I think that it is highly likely he gets both in state offers.

I wouldn't use the word "pushed" if it had anything to do with fandom or family. It's coach situation.

There's no battle for either of these two. The only way they don't end up at their parents' schools is if their offers get pulled.

Also said has thought about committing to AU a few times but has been told to wait by parents. Also says has family members pushing Bama. I think his parents will ultimately let him decide but no doubt he is getting nudged to Bama right now, understandably so. Curious to see what happens after y'all's spring game visit

I found this on SEC Country's Recruiting homepage. The link for the story is dead but it appears Quay Walker may be a silent commitment to Alabama and he asked Kirschner to drop the story.

Not really. Alabama just offered two weeks ago and doesn't want him as a RB.

Somewhat reminds me of Ronnie Clark. A good player, without a defined position. Joiner would be an athlete.

I believe his is 6'3" and possibly going to grow more. He wants to play RB and doesn't like our depth. If he continues to grow he will be a WR if he doesn't he will be a RB for you guys.

Don't think it's a depth issue, I hear you guys offered him as an athlete.

He's fully aware that if he grows more he will most likely have to give up his preference to play RB in college. He then would evaluate his offers as an athlete.

He has recently stated LSU is his current leader but I thought both Auburn and Bama were recruiting him. He's a great athlete.

Alabama is recruiting him. As an athlete. He's going to grow out of the RB position.

No he has said Bama's depth chart is why he hasn't considered us, that and we offered as an athlete and not a RB.

But...but...but... ole miss fans claim that Copeland is saying it's his dream to play for ole miss and they're his leader!

The reason LSU is his leader right now is because they are recruiting him strictly as a RB. That's what he said in an interview.

He also talked about the Bama offer as an athlete and how Auburn was recruiting him in a similar way.
