Recently decommitted from your baseball class, wants to play 2 sports. Looks like he's gonna sign with Tennessee.

Has good film, can he play?

I don't think he will ever start at QB for you, if that's what you are asking.

Kid can sling it, but he definitely feels like a last resort target given Butch has struck out on literally every QB he's targeted

I think he has a much brighter future in baseball but he has had a big year at QB. Kid is a good athlete. Not sure he is an SEC QB tho there apparently there are some collegiate coaches that think different. Would be a solid pickup hate we might lose him in our baseball class

I have been to 3 McGill games this year despite living in Arizona, I'll say he certainly passes the eye test, but McGill runs basically a one read spread and counts on the WR on being open. Also, this past summer McGill won the 7v7 summer Southern Championship against all the elite teams in the south, including the best from Florida and Georgia. McGill has elite athletes on the outside which propels their success, including one WR committed to USCwest.

McGill is playing to defend their 7a state championship, which is the largest in the state, against Hoover and is included in all top twenty HS rankings. I wish I could say more about Thompson, but I just do not know. He certainly looks good playing, but the Satterwhite kid who started last year and graduated looked just as good. The only constant is the elite athleticism as WR. Is he great or a product of the system?

No clue. I don't follow college baseball. He will be playing Hoover for the title. Stream it. AU can't take another project QB. He wants a football scholarship, and then play baseball. I personally don't think he is worth that.
