How do you guys feel generally about BCW? I know you made a couple of really big pickups. Are you pretty happy with the way it went? Do you feel like you made some progress with some targets? Who do you think might be leaning towards you as a result of BCW?

Top recruits seem to like it. Got a 4* WR and a 2017 5* OT to commit.

It has worked out well on NSD for us since the beginning. Yes I like it.

You get that commit to stick and that will make BCW a success all by itself. Nice pickup.

I was mainly curious about any progress you had made with uncommitted players.

Obviously a 4* and 5* commit makes it a success. If we are able to do the same with Dawg Night I think we will all be happy.

I guess we will how well it went shortly because several of the players who attended are supposed to announce their commitments in the next few weeks.

I even read where Antuan Jackson said he was going to announce his commitment soon, but he didn't give a specific date as far as I know. One of his high school teammates named Auburn his leader and said the two of them planned to play at the same college

Rumor is next year they are going to use the Big Video Board to play Madden games for the recruits. Gus plans to make BCW even bigger.

If they announce quickly after BCW, it should be a good omen for Auburn. They (the kids) will still be coming off the good weekend.

I am hoping not. We would like a shot at him, but if he announces quickly, I would think he would go to Auburn.

When you are dealing with 17 and 18 year olds, bigger is always better. They eat that stuff up.

So, I am assuming you guys feel pretty good about Jackson. Are you thinking you made up a lot of ground with brown? It's odd, because after he said he had no "public" #1 (That's the way I heard he worded it) it looked bad for us. BUT, then I heard we were still the leader, but he was just tired of people ASSUMING and saying he was all UGA. But that was coming from our fans, and as we all know we all try to spin things in our favor.

I think we have a decent shot at Brown but he is going to be tough to pull out of UGA, if he does wait till the end to announce I like our chances but if he announces before that I don't even if he were to choose us at the time. I do know one recruit said he worked on a few players and that He would have to keep working Brown, the way he said it pretty much said UGA is the leader

There are several players I really want, and i know you guys want some, too. Two I would really like to get are Brown and Kyle Davis. Then there is Mecole Hardman and a couple others, too. I know we are going after some of the same players. Should be interesting to see how it all shakes out. I know Auburn typically closes fast, and that always makes me nervous.

Very very happy overall. Was hoping Antonneus Clayton would've committed (almost did) as well, but other than that it was hugely successful in terms of getting in good position with our top targets.

Marlon Davidson is pretty much locked up as well.

Sorry to hear about David Marshall. Seems like he was fully commited and then recanted a week later. Recruiting is such a fickle game.

Still think you guys get Jackson and possibly Carter which is a hell of a haul on the Dline and being in the mix for Brown can't hurt.

Jackson would be a very, very, very nice pickup for Auburn. Quick, fast, high motor, and a lot of folks have been comparing his game to Geno Atkins.

Honestly I've never been that high on him. Seems like a tweener to me, I think we'll be able to find someone equal to him or better.

If we can hold on to Quinnen Williams and add Jackson, Davidson, Clayton, either Carter or Brown, and someone not on our radar right now, it'll be a solid DL class
