Do you not see the 22h time stamp on both of those tweets? That means they were 22 hours old when I took a screenshot.

*Hint: There are 24 hours in 1 day and 96 hours in 4.

He's gone bro. Honestly don't give a shite if he's not though.....hes wayyyyyyy over ranked and over hyped......figured yall woulda learned your lesson by now........considering the GREATEST Highschool QB in the history of Texas football just flaked out on Aggie.

LSUs current 3* QB signee had better production in every statistical category....against better competition

5* Tate Martell vs 3*Lindsay Scott.........

Martell:
173.9 yards per game passing
133 of 237 for a 56.12 completion percentage
32 TD's versus 6 INT's
608 yards rushing. 40.3 yard per game average

Scott:
202 yards per game passing
163 of 255 for a 63.92 completion percentage
33 TD's versus 5 INT's
1963 Rushing yards. 130.9 per game average.
More passing yards per game, better completion percentage, better TD to INT ratio, crap ton more rushing yardage per game (more than 3 times as many).

Please explain what makes Tate a 5*?

Your own previous thread answers this for you

quote:

He plays at Bishop Gorman, they're a powerhouse like Paramus Catholic, St. Thomes Aquinas and Mater Dei. He has a stronger and more accurate arm than scott.

I'm sure. You only follow his Twitter and all

I never said that. Some random poster said that. The fact that he plays a Bishop Gorum should show that the stats he has are exaggerated due to the fact they "recruit" the best players from multiple states.

Scott didn't have that luxury......and still put up better stats.......in every single statistical catagory.

I don't follow anyone's Twitter......yell yeaders like you post the screenshots on the interwebs

FWIW - 247 has already indicated that Tate is likely going to see his ranking drop based on his Junior year.

His Senior year is going to be very telling. He's lost his top two WR's and won't be throwing to anyone who is going to put up close to the amount of YAC that Tyjon did.

The only issue here is that in a world where coaches and most players don't have much loyalty, being so over-the-top loyal on Twitter is a recipe for disaster.

(I think there is some bias here because Martell looks like a Backstreet Boy. When he goes to play in the deep south all those ol' boys will want to go all Deliverance on him. If he were, say, a linebacker with dreads his tweets wouldn't be so roundly abused.)

Is this a serious question?

BG probably plays the toughest schedule in the nation. It would be like comparing an SEC West schedule with tOSU, Stanford, FSU, & UH as the OOC vs UL's schedule. It isn't comparable.

According to who? Maxpreps doesn't even have BG in the top 40 for strength of schedule. There are 8 TX high schools with harder SOS including Katy, Lake Travis, Allen, Westlake, Cedar Hill etc...

BG will schedule a couple of tough opponents a year and then finish out their schedule against Las Vegas / Nevada teams. Nevada isn't exactly known for the strength of their high school football teams.

I get that A&M fans are hyped for this kid - and in turn have become BG fans - but they're self-appointed paper champions. They finally have a chance to 'prove it' to some degree by scheduling Cedar Hill and Allen - so we'll see how this kid and his team do against a couple of the better TX HS football teams.

I'm especially interested to see how he does now that the best WR (and player) on last years BG team has moved back home.

BS. Go look at their margin of victory in most games.......they beat the crap out of pretty much every team. The level of competition is pretty bad minus 1-2 games a year

Their closest game was 38-20. Every other game was a complete blowout. Some Game scores were 70-7,69-7,63-7,70-3,63-7,63-13, type scores.......

I doubt that's National Power House competition looking at those scores. The kid has obviously padded his stats with an all star cast, against sisters of the poor.

Did you even look at the teams on their schedule?

Long Beach Poly (CA)
Don Bosco Prep (NJ)
Bellevue (WA)
Bingham (UT)
Chandler (AZ)

They played like 4 or 5 teams that were in the USA Today top 50 the previous year
