And we are supposed to believe that lying idiot?

He lied about everything arkansas when it came to his sons recruitment. You corn dogs ate it up

Yeah he lied about him liking UF and that was his second option too. Man some of you guys are completely delusional. You guys paid for him to go have some fun with a teammate in Fayetteville for a weekend, he was never going to Arkansas, his dad or not. If if wasn't LSU, it was going to be UF.

You can make an argument for either case

My fear is that OM got the checkbook out.

Thinking Alabama may be a likely desitination afterall. The safety spots just cleared up more.

He is now delaying his decision even longer and is planning to take official visits instead. He said that he will officially take them to Arkansas, Alabama and Okie State and then he might go to LSU and Auburn as well. I doubt those last two happen though.

I am not sure who that helps.

I do feel that he's moved up the board for Alabama.

If Bert wants to take the next. Step he has to beat out Saban for recruits

He already has. An incoming WR comes to mind right away, Jordan Jones.

How am I troll? I am a fan of what Bert has done at arky and he is good for the sec.

If Arky wants to take the next step as a program they need to be able to win head to head against Bama. Landing Brown would be a turning point for Arky to be a top 10-15 program.

We do need to win a few head to head recruiting battles with Bama if we want to consistently compete with Bama.

We have played Bama somewhat tough (for at least 3 quarters anyway) the last couple of years with mainly players Bama wouldn't offer and good coaching though. So I don't think we are that far away from being able to take a game from them now and then.

I don't that it's any secret that Bama has out recruited nearly all the schools in the country on a yearly basis.

No offense, but who is Jordan Jones?

A 6-1 receiver with speed to burn out of Smackover, AR.

Saban wanted him bad enough to go to his house, I think maybe it was even AFTER he had committed to Arkansas but I may be wrong about that.

Committed pretty early to Arkansas so there wasn't a lot of long drawn out attention getting drama, probably why you don't know the name.

ETA: He committed in June of '14 for the class of '16.
All Hog early on, never wavered. May have cost him a few ratings points and maybe a star. Saban knew, however.

Arky has top 5 player development right now.

It seems like most of your battles are against big ten and big 12 schools not sec. If I was bert and a arky fan I would want to beat the piss out of Florida for stealing tyrie and that corner

Would like to have gotten Cleveland, but honestly, we are in pretty good shape at WR at the moment so wasn't a critical loss.

We went to the trouble of digging up the DB (already forgotten his name) and did kind of piss me off the Florida lets us do the digging and then steals him.

It seems that a couple of schools have been doing that the last couple of years, waiting until we unearth an overlooked prospect, we offer, they get wind that we've found something and they offer right away too.

Someone should remind him how the past top players from Arkansas that went to Alabama did.

Josh Frazier just got a SEC Title and National Title ring. Tenpenny got a SEC Title ring before he transferred.

That is more then any Arkansas player that has ever played in the SEC has done.

And Darius Philon is getting an NFL paycheck instead of probably being buried on the bench at Alabama waiting his turn.

But at least he'd have a ring
