AL 5A isn't exactly that good of competition. Anything below 7A is just a bunch of undersized slow white kids, or unorganized inner city schools that are so poorly coached they can barely line up correctly and don't even run real plays.

There are kids that tear up 6A on a weekly basis that couldn't walk on at Samford or even sniff playing time Birmingham-Southern.

Not saying Webb isn't a good player, because very good athletes and players to come out of the smaller classifications in Alabama every year. Just saying that being productive in AL 5A ball is no real indicator of how good of a prospect a kid is.

How do you know so little about Alabama football? I mean so very little?

He's not a Bama type back. Obviously. And Aubern just got a commitment from a pretty good back.

What did I say that was wrong? You're not even from this state, what do you know?

I'll use a real life example from last year.
Zalon Reynolds from Chelsea, that's a 6A HS that's been pretty good the last few years. Jake Ganus cane from there. Zalon is close to Webb's size, 5'7" 185 pounds. He's been tearing up 6A defenses for the last 3 years. Last year as the sole starter for Chelsea he ran for almost 2000 yards and 20 TD and 7.9 ypc.... You know where he's going to school? The freaking University of The Cumberlands. That's an NAIA school where lacrosse is bigger than football.... exactly like I said, he tore up 6A defenses every single week but wouldn't have been good enough to walk on to Samford or get on the field at Birmingham-Southern

Like I said, stats don't mean shite. Webb's stats are damned impressive, but they shouldn't be held up as evidence of how good of a prospect he is or to say that UA and AU "overlooked" him. There are plenty of kids that could tear up 5A defenses. Hell there are years where even Hoover has extremely productive offensive players that are little 5'7" white boys that can't play college ball above D2 or D3 level.

The whole point is, while Webb's stats are impressive, they don't mean shite as to what type of prospect he is.
