You do know who is going to be the #1 ranked team in the country at the start of the season, right?

Clemson didn't "slay" anything. The Alabama train is still running full steam ahead.

if saban doesn't win it all this season, he will retire.

recruiting will go down once he's not there.

i simply think Clemson has a shot at these recruits being discussed.

And now we're jumping to another narrative.

Good thing he's going to win it all then. If not, well, I guess Mama will call Dabo home.

ok, i'm good with Dabo leaving if that is what he wants. other good coaches out there.

would be funny as hell if Dabo goes to alabama and bama struggles.

i'll be trolling bama rednecks like you so much with things like 'only CLemson could make Dabo a winner, bama couldn't' lol

You obviously don't know what that little phrase means. I'm shocked to learn that Tillman continues to be a fricking idiot. Utterly shocking I tell you.

Perhaps.

But the point of the post was to throw Dabo in there as his successor.

Nope I'm eating popcorn in reference to you thinking that CLemson or Clemson or CLEMson or ClemSON is anywhere near the program that Alabama and OSU are historically or in the next 20 years.

I really do hope University of Clemson is able to navigate that 1 game ACC schedule (at home no less), so OSU can have the chance to pay them back in spades

not sure how OSU can say Clemson only plays one good team a year, given it plays in big10. OSU's division had 3 teams with only 1 loss. lol i never seen that in the ACC.

my opinion, the ACC has a lot more talented players.

plus OSU lost to a bad Va Tech at home 3 years ago, then won the natty that year which included beating bama. lol

bama has only really been a good program with 2 or 3 coaches, i think the same is true for OSU. it is more about the coach than the program.

Oh God the stupidity in this statement is biblical.

Here are the coaches who have won a national title at Alabama:

Wallace Wade
Frank Thomas
Bear Bryant
Gene Stallings
Nick Saban

Ohio State:

Woody Hayes
Jim Tressel
Urban Meyer

All-time wins:

Ohio State - 888
Alabama - 878
Clemson - 709

Alabama and Ohio State could take a decade off from football and Clemson wouldn't have as many wins as either of them.

clemson was a small military school until 1955, that is why adding up W-L all time is dumb. Colleges change over time. it has a lot more money now than it did back then.

people think Clemson is small now but there was literally no restaurants there back in the day so recruiting was a hard sale.

Paul Brown won one at OSU during WW2 as well, but when you have so many it's hard to remember it all.

When you have 2 total...makes things easier to remember every detail

most normmal people not spending a lot of time thinking about wins from decades ago. those wins didn't do anything for OSU in the 3 games against CLemson.

sports is about winning the current game, not adding up wins from the past.

I'll remember to include this gem the next time you bring up last year's championship game. Because, you know, it's in the past and the only real game that matters is the next one.
