#TAMU has landed a commitment from former 5-star RB and #Sooners transfer Keith Ford:

He's been a little injury prone, but has 3 years to play 2 and has averaged 5.5 and 5.8 a carry at OU (when not injured)

Why did he want to leave Oklahoma? Playing time or just wanted out? Bob Stoops really hates the SEC.

Samarje Perine. The record holder for rushing yards in a game. That is the reason

I think you're right. But don't forget that Ford was starting in front of Perine until Ford broke his leg in the Tenn game, and he was looking very good and putting up nice numbers. Ford is very talented back.

I remember. He was a beast and I thought they were in trouble after losing ford, he looked heisman caliber to start the year. But Perine became a world beater.

It was at todd gurley Chubb mirror situation.

If he comes back from injury and still has it hes definitely one of the top 8 backs in college.

Great pickup. He will have to,sit out a year right?

I think you're remebering the wrong guy. He averaged 3.7 YPC against Tennessee before getting hurt. The other two games he had played were against LaTech and Tulsa in which Perine had more carries than him. There wasn't really anything about his first three games that screamed Heisman caliber. Perhaps you're thinking of Alex Ross who had a couple of big games over the course of the season?

Not Heisman, but solid 1st 3 games.

34 rushes
194 yards
5.7 Ypc
5 TDs
6 catches
100 rec yards
1 rec TD

You keep that pace up for a full year and you have a strong year. I would take that all day with Trey(already gone), Tra, and Brandon all gone after this year.
136 rushes
776 yards
5.7 ypc
20 TDs
24 catches
400 rec yards
4 rec TDs
