I'm not here to aggravate the Bulldogs, and I don't have any inside info, but what is up with this kid? I know every coach is chasing him, being the #1 defensive player for '19, but he's been committed for quite some time.
From the Clemson side, it seems like every time he says something he's kind of ready to come here, but he's still a UGA commit. Is he still in contact with the coaches? Is it just his friendship with Xavier Thomas as IMG?

Dude, as seen with Fields, even if a kid is committed to another school we'll still contact them on a daily basis. I can't imagine us not being in contact with a top recruit who is interested in us, let alone one we have committed.
But it is strange how he puts up he's committed and then takes it down on what seems like a weekly basis.

He's a Junior. A lot will change. It's why I don't even really follow it until a month or so before signing day of the prior class.
Wouldn't shock me if he swaps multiple times.

Probably a little more than just that. He committed early, really early. We'll be glad Thomas leaves in a few months
Thomas is seemingly doing a great job of recruiting for y'all.
If he does switch, I'd guess it would be next year. He seems to be enjoying the process as he should. Surely, he wants to see both teams play this year.

The only thing we're even remotely worried about with Henry is Alabama.
That said, you never know with HS kids, but everyone who should know anything about it (those with some real contacts) thinks he's coming to Clemson.
XT is an openly out there recruiter, but we hear bits and pieces that sound like Lawrence is doing his thing as well. Just quieter about it.

This sounds like that Joshua Kaindoh, Robert Beal recruiting saga at IGM last year. Kaindoh tried to flip Beal to Florida St. This year Xavier Thomas, Smiths teammate at IGM is trying to flip him to Clemson.

Everything we hear he is still solid. he seems to enjoy trolling on twitter, and going back and forth, but he seems to be solid.
We do have a few "sky is falling" fans that are convinced he is about to leave.
Who knows really when you are talking about 18 year old kids?

If he takes his OVs I guess I could see the concern. Any program has to be concerned if a kid is still taking visits after they commit.
Also Clemson fans seem to be giddy about a possible OV to them

He has had two free weekends from IMG this fall. Has visited Athens both times. Recruits a lot for us. Visiting this weekend. Has always trolled on twitter, for which I don't blame him.
Obviously anything can happen in recruiting, but save for the handful of guys each cycle that commit and totally shut it down, he is about as solid to UGA as a 5*, top 5 prospect could be.

Kirby said last night after the game that we want kids that "want" to be at Georgia, that add to the team, and that's not always a "five star" player. Stokes proved that last night...the three star taking over for the five star, Campbell. And performing very well.

To be completely honest, I’d rather have a 5 star player who is unsure than a 3 star who has been a DGD their whole life.
