He is from Cornelius, NC. Near Charlotte I think.

Great pickup, I don't know about Bama, but UGA wasn't really recruiting him very hard...yet. I'm honestly pretty surprised we weren't going harder after a guy this talented right in the middle of our backyard/stomping grounds, but hopefully we don't regret it. Really great DB with huge talent. Exactly the type of guy you needed to fill that hole left by Hampton and Co in the backend.

We're bringing in Green, Lammons, and Harris Jr. with this class, and now Fields Jr. (if he holds - long way to go) and are in good standing with a few other top CBs. IMO because of the sizable DB class we brought in for 2014 we may only take 1 or 2 DBs for the 2015 cycle...
