He's another very good interior offensive linemen that Alabama has added. He is 6-3 330 and should project as a RG.
Need to add more tackles at this point.

Juaun Williams from Maryland is the only other one we are seriously after.

We're targeting Greg Little (insert snarky comment by Ags ), JUCO OT Charles Baldwin, and Jauan Williams. I expect that list to expand after camp season.

Well good luck with everyone. Hopefully we all get the targets we're after

Baldwin said today that Ole Miss is his leader FWIW.

Of those on that list, I think we are in the best shape for Allen. Little will be a tough pull, Jauan Williams will be a drama queen recruitment, and the other one currently has OM as his favorite.
We've offered a couple of other oline, but I'm not sure how serious they are about UA/ we are about them yet.

Shea Dixon seems to think we get Allen in the end

Why doesn't SirRohantheDefender show that sentiment in his CB pick? He predicted Allen to Alabama on January 31st.

Bama is a lot higher on Juco OT Garett Bolles than Baldwin. Bolles is currently committed to BYU. Tough pull.
Bolles, Allen, and Jauan Williams are the top 3 targets right now. Bama coaches feel very good about Allen.

Maybe because he wants to wait a little while and get a clearer picture on the matter?

The have a cloudy option on that CB thangy if he wanted to wait on a clearer picture. But seems he would rather CB him to Bama. Strange.

With the litany of offensive lineman that CNS has brought in, over the last few classes, he seems to be DETERMINED to get back to Bama's roots of being a smash-mouth, hard-nosed, physically DOMINATING team on the LOS....
SEC fu&*ed!!

With the litany of highy regarded high school o linemen brought in every year, why does it seem like yall target a JUCO guy every year? Just curious.

Because they are good?

We are still trying to build depth from when we didn't make oline a priority in recruiting. Stoutland couldn't recruit because of the sanctions at Miami, so we had some missed evaluations.
Back in 2013 we took four oline. One of them, Brandon Hill, couldn't crack the depth chart because he was too fat. The other, Grant Hill, has had some personal problems that have kept him off the field. The third, Bradley Bozeman, will likely start this year. The fourth was Leon Brown, and probably the worst oline starter since 2007. So really having only one oline turn out has taken a hit on our depth.
Since then, we took four oline in 2014, including one JUCO (five, but one didn't qualify) and five oline in 2015, and we will probably take four in 2016.
I expect that by 2016 our oline will once again be the class of tSEC.

We'll sign at least 5 OL again this time. Look for 2 more OTs to be signed.

My son had to play against him last season.
He held his own but he flattened my boy more than once.
He's a good one.
