Big get for BO. #1 target from day 1, and beat out a lot of good programs for him.

Hopefully this gets the ball rolling on our class.

Here is Scout's analysis of Foster:

quote:

James Foster has led the Sidney Lanier Poets since he was a high school freshman and has developed into a balanced passer. A well put-together prospect, he is patient in the pocket with a strong arm, quick release and the ability to extend the play when things break down. Foster isn't a burner as a runner, but he can do enough to keep the defense honest. His technique in the pocket could be more polished, but it is an area he has improved upon considerably of late. -- John Garcia, Jr.

Again, nice pickup.

Right. Because you are THE authority.

All the schools that offered him seem to think he's pretty good

Of course.

What commitable offers does he hold?

You pointed out that several schools thought he was good enough for an offer. Are you not going to say which schools?

I guess I am to lazy misery fans

Making a vague argument like "the schools that offered thought he was good" is lazy. Those schools, for all I know, could be Louisiana Monroe and Kansas...

I highly doubt Alabama's is commitable. Is it? I saw the link in the OP.
Noncommittable and commitable offers are quite different and worthy of distinction.

All Alabama QB offers are contingent on an in-person throwing session. With rare exceptions.
