Any of you Georgians fill me in on this guy at all? He's listed everywhere as a MLB but most of his tape has him with a hand on the ground on the edge.
Never heard of Mays High School. What kind of competition is he going up against?

Mays is very good and plays very good competition. Lost in the 5A state championship last year, which is the second highest classification.
Don't know anything about Little though

Thanks Crow. Haven't followed his recruitment close. Seemed SC and Clemson had offered but I don't know that they were commitable offers.

Porter or other GA posters may know more about him as a player

Mays is the best coaches APS school. Coach Jarvis and his staff do a great job. As far as Little, I've only seen him a few times but he is physical and plays tough. Not the greatest as pass coverage but solid against the run. That just my opinion though.

Thanks as always for the insight Porter. Appreciate it.
It was really hard to tell from his tape because he's obviously never getting back in coverage. His tape is only showing his hits behind the line of scrimmage and what not.

yea Mays has a lot of good athletes, if he's playing on that team he's at the very least, "pretty good", and he appears to have the strength to fight of blocks and make tackles at the line, and good ground closing speed to rush the QB.
fits perfectly at Mizzou as either a LB or DE.

Too short to play defensive end. 5'11 to 6'0

in the 3-3 that Odom will be utilizing, he will fit in somewhere, backers that play on the line etc..
