We know O was the master recruiter of that staff.
Speaking of O... Didn't he state that if Ole Miss was to land a top recruit... McKnight I believe, that UM would be investigated by the NCAA????

I never put faith in guys recruiting other recruits. After watching Shepard try his damnedest in 09 I realized the effort is wasted. To use that as a reason is plain idiotic. They might have sparked his interest, but a guy wanting to play with so and so isn't a big reason to choose where to spend the next 3-4 years of your life.
Not sure I'd rely on that being your best way to flip guys, but big name recruits do have an influence!

Why would he say something like that?

If so, it was tongue-in-cheek

Can't believe the whole Tunsil is leaning to us thing. Incredible! We need O linemen more than anything. If we could get Gohlson, Bell, and Tunsil to go along with the oline guys we have already committed, this class will be very well rounded. That, along with the quality of the talent, is a huge difference from past classes for us...

Tunsil is easily the most game ready OT this year but if we can get Robinson from Texas I won't complain.

I'm having a hard time understanding Ole Miss' sudden success...but that's a far cry from assuming that there is massive cheating. Maybe a group of these top players got together and decided to come in as a package and "take over" a program with potential. Not unheard of.
I started a thread asking this question. It turned out to be a good thread that clearly makes sense of what is happening at Ole Miss. I firmly believe there is no major cheating taking place. Sometimes you just have to tip your hat and say job well done.

So in a league filled with as many all-star recruiters as the SEC you don't find it strange that a team with little to no inherent advantages or proven recruiters is suddenly beating everyone for 5* kids with offers from all over the country?
I'm not making accusations, I'm saying that the logic doesn't add up at all.

Don't act like you know what you're talking about.
