Was he hurt this season? I saw his numbers were not very good, particularly from someone who has so many offers.

Taking commits from Sophmores is risky as hell. Especially at a position like QB.

Doubt he ever plays a snap at Auburn.

Where's the risk? If he turns out not to be as good as expected, you cut him loose.

The risk obviously comes in the fact that QB is generally not a position where you take multiple commits in a season. Players in his class striking Auburn from their list already is an absolute possibility.

I watched him play. He shares time with a senior QB. He is tall and has good athleticism. He needs to work on his accuracy and not getting happy feet in the pocket.
