There's two things with Tate for me, one is the talent he played/plays with he threw to Alize Jones, Cordell Broadus and that 5* wr last year he also handed the ball to Baggio Ali that's a pretty bad arse offense. But from what I heard they also played the toughest schedule last year so...

he's definitely used to playing in high level games, his side and the defense. It'd definitely be nice if he could grow a little more, especially not taking anyone this year and taking Kyler last year. That's a big investment in two sub 6ft QBs.

That said I do like him a lot and think he has the tools.

LSU and the aggies need to put their differences aside and trade a secondary player or two for a qb if Harris and Jennings fail

Scuttlebutt from the Oregon camp is that he is rated higher than he should be. FWIW, an Oregon offer would be a game changer.

Game changer in the sense he would tweet about it.

Lots of guys say offers will be game changers because they want that offer on their profile.

From what I've seen he's rated pretty accurately. At a camp about a month ago they said he was the best QB there besides Shea

I am not much of a recruitnik admittedly. However, some of the more connected ones said the coaches didn't offer because he wasn't as good as his film when seeing him live. Said the talent around him at Bishop Gorman makes him look better than he is. Take it for what it's worth.

Also, I don't think Oregon has a 2017 scholarship offer out at qb. So, they are very reticent to hand out them out too early and get stuck with someone they regret.

I personally think he ends up in the Pac - 12 but we'll see.

He won MVP of the Oregon camp. And the opening camp he went to. No BG teammates there.

I am not saying the coaches thought he was a bust just rated higher than he should be, which at #13 isn't a stretch. I personally want the first offer to be TUA TAGOVAILOA who is outside the top 100.

Top 3 of Oregon, USC & Washington..... he's 2 years behind incredibly, would be nice to have him but he's going to be 18 and he's 5'10, good luck to him though.

He's not 2 years behind. He was measured 5'11", 188 lbs at the Nike SPARQ event. Also, he's visiting College Station on July 18th.

I think it's USC or Oregon. I will be interested to see how Vernon Adams does in our system at that height. I'd rather have Tua who is a little bigger.

That's not his top 3. Those were the schools on a picture his teammate tweeted out.

Thats TyJon Lindseys top 3, not Martell.

Spavital told him were not taking a QB in '16, and it could be the difference maker for him as hes coming to College station soon. Other dominoes have fallen already, why not him?
