All the camps at LSU they said he was a stud. He's skinny but he can be a great WR or Cb.

Yeah, Smith is a stud. Looks like UGA's Director of Player Personnel is from Amite. So there is the connection to rural Tangipahoa parish.
ETA: I could see him like a Donte Jackson that is really good at CB, but too skilled with the ball to only be a CB. He was at the LSU camp working as a DB then went and did the WR gauntlet drill and out performed the WRs.

Congrats Dawgs. Would have loved to have him but if he wants to leave the state I'm glad he's going to the East and the West.

Who is uga's director of player personnel? The one I found is a guy named Hartley he's from Georgia from what I can tell

Sam Pettito I think is the name. It's in the thread about Carter. But either the site or my computer is moving too slow for me so I didn't go back and check.

i found it thanks. I actually know Sammy he married a girl from Franklinton (since split) and Is a really good friend of mines former brother in law. Nice guy hope the best for him at uga. Haven't seen or spoke to him in a few years
