Very important weekend for recruiting. Could set the tone for the entire class. Having 2 of the biggest class recruiters (Eason & Rochester) there is big for us. I'm hoping we land 2 or so commitments and build some steam for the rest of the season.

DGD and I will be converging on Athens with an army of sluts and enough cocaine to kill Lil' Wayne this evening. No need to worry, I made sure our pipeline at Heyward-Allen Cadillac is still open, too. The recruits will have a great time and leave in nice, new rides.

Does this start tonight or tomorrow?

Reason I ask is a few of those guys are expected in T-Town for the "Champions Cookout"(ugh)tonight.

Guessing if it's Saturday, most are heading over after. Though I'm not sure how long or what an...ugh.. "Champions Cookout" is.

Raekwon Davis
Nate McBride
Will Ignont
Anthony McFarland Jr
Markail Benton

All overlap, and with that list for Dawgnight, I'm sure Bama might be telling a few more to stop by

A few top targets are in town tonight, but the main event is tomorrow from early afternoon until midnight or so.

It's a "shite, UGA is going to wreck shop if we don't get in a few ears beforehand" event.

Last I heard out of 'Dosta is that we're sitting pretty for Nasty Nate.

I've been hearing he was all Bama for some time and that we need to make up ground on this visit. Nate is a beast and it would suck to lose a kid out of that area of Georgia considering how dominant UGA is in that area.

Serious collection of talent there. Any thoughts that it might almost be too much? Gonna be impossible for the coaches to give much time to individual guys though I'm sure they'll make sure the priorities are taken care of.

Nate and his dad apparently were told to arrive early today to have a sit down with Kirby Smart.

A few important ears to get in

He will be a stud. At this time Bama is the team to beat.

They are doing two sessions. Young kids in the morning and studs at night.

In past years, yes. However, this has been made into a full weekend thing. All of the 5 stars and top 2016 guys are already on campus or are due in tonight for a small-sized event in Sanford. Tomorrow, the 2018 and 2019 recruits will go in a morning session while the 2016 and 2017 guys arrive and then the actual camp will happen from 8-10 on Saturday night. After that, they usually bus them all to Sanford for another private event on the field and, obviously, many will stay overnight and hang out until late Sunday.

So, put another way, yeah we'll be able to get to everyone we want to get to. I think we've assembled a huge support staff specifically for this reason (plus guys like Eason, Hockman, and Rochester and all the current players being present to work the crowd).

Think you also need to do a very thorough background check on all family members and get them to sign an ironclad NDA....just saying!
