I wonder if he researched how many from UT had made it? Weed Williams and Benson are the only two that i can think of that Texas has put out lately, but on the other hand, there are about 5 in the league from the UA alone who are getting paid right now.

Someone posted this on 247.

Someone needs to educate the lad about the truth instead of what was fed to him.

Surely no one thinks he really did research, right? It's pretty clear he didn't or he wouldn't say something so ridiculously untrue.

Neither the Pac nor the Big 12 had a single back drafted in the first three rounds this past year. Last year LaMichael James was the only one and he was drafted with the 61st overall pick. It's a comically non-nonsensical statement.

I think it gives you more of an insight as to what Mack Brown's recruiting pitch was.

I'm sure he didn't mention his last good RB had to quit football while in college due to injuries (concussions).

Whatever gets 'em to commit is fine with me. If that's what Mack is telling them, then it wouldn't surprise me. I wonder if Shorter was inspired by how good Mack was at clapping

Anyways, I'll take it

I would expect him to flip so calm down.

He is very soft to Texas.
