I love sluts.

With that said, AU doesn't have a big vertical passing game...the QB situation is shaky...what is it? Be the Jet Sweep guy?

Help me out with this one, folks. What is the AU selling point to a big time WR? Honest question.

No proven WR outside of Emory Blake...and he's about to go PRO after next season. Which would give Stefon Diggs 3 years to stars, possibly 4, if he's good enough.

Thus the reason Loeffler was hired -- to develop our passing game.

Kids pick schools based on a lot of reasons -- relationships and trust with the coaches being a very big one. I don't expect to land Diggs, but we definitely have a shot.

Emory Blake finished 3rd in the conference in yards/reception.

It isn't going to happen with Clint or the wildcat guy, I don't think. Is the one from UCF supposed to be the guy?

I don't doubt one bit that Trooper can get the guy on the Plains. He is a talented fellow.

He is going to surprise some people this year.

I know you have no objective reason to believe that, but he's a talented kid and the increased reps in practice, combined with hands on teaching from a guy who actually understands the passing game on more than just a remedial level, is going to cause him to turn some heads.

He had 36 receptions on the year... Is Diggs being told that he can be the deep ball threat when a misdirection play works or is AU making a move to a more traditional O?

I am aware of this. The young man is talented, that goes without saying...but "Look at E Blake" isn't exactly a big time selling point..I think even the more vested AU fan would agree that high flying WRs isn't a AU strength in the recruiting game.

Also, I get it. You hired a new OC. He may being filling the kids head with visions of Randy Moss or someone...

I'm with you. I don't see a top flight outa region receiver coming to Auburn with the questions we have at QB and OC.

you have no idea what our offense will look like next season...

One thing recruiting should tell everyone.... the unknown can often time be a FANTASTIC selling point.... otherwise, how do you explain Will Muschamp having a top 4 class in america?.... dude hasn't done shite.... or Jimbo Fisher... the data to date suggests he's a mediocre to bad HC.

When there's no information one way or another, a coach can sell ice to eskimos.... Chizik in 2010 did it after a 8-5 09 season..

My questions were not a knock on AU at all, and I hope ya'll know that. Right now, I just don't see AU offering the things that a guy like the Maryland kid wants.

Oh, and for UA...I don't see us ever getting someone like Julio again. That was an instate kid who bought into the "we're gonna be champions with or without you" bullshite Saban pumped. A DGB or someone like that wouldn't see what he wants to see in UA either.

exactly.... just pop in a tape of Mario Manningham at Michigan when Leoffler was QB coach... or Harvin when he was QB coach at UF...

We're not talking about rocket surgeons here... most are easily swayed.

I wouldn't doubt Coach Saban on that one. Plus, lets see what Eddie Williams can develop in to.
