I really mean this more as a "SEC State" or "where you're from" type of thread but you get my point.

In Alabama, it's Mobile and Jeff. County without question.

The Greater Houston Area, Dallas-Fort Worth, and speckled across east Texas.

San Antonio area is usually pretty week. West & South Texas hardly produce anything. Austin / Hill country has some talent, but not enough to compete with the top 3 areas.

It's traditionally been Memphis for Tennessee, but with the population boom in the mid state over the last decade, Nashville has taken it's place over the last few cycles and should trend that way going forward to the excitement of Tennessee fans.

Georgia is pretty spread out for football. The Valdosta-Thomasville area of South GA has typically been a hotbed as has metro ATL (though you could break that down even further and say College Park/Dekalb or Gwinnett or Stone Mountain/Tucker are hotbeds). You could also point to the West side of the state from Carrolton on down to Columbus as having produced a lot of talent. And then there's that sort of Middle/South Ga area that makes up the space between Macon and Albany that is pretty talent rich as well.

How big of an area are you talking here? DFW is 10-12 counties and if you compare that is all of South Fla. From Sarasota over to Port St Lucie and all parts south. That is a huge area.

Gwinnett County I'd say is the best area in Georgia. Consistently churns out great players. Well coached players that can plug and play as well. A lot of good football played over there

Really you could split GA up into corridors. 85 corridor from Atlanta up toward Clemson is immensely talent rich, as is the stretch from Macon down to Valdosta.

Highway 6 in MS has always been pretty fertile. Clarksdale, Batesville(south panola), Oxford (Lafayette County), Tupelo.

I'd say NWA is #1 and the Delta area has passed LR for #2.

Little Rock has definitely declined but still gets some really good ones from time to time.

Seems like the Hattiesburg and Jackson metro areas are both traditionally fertile recruiting grounds. Seems like Petal is in the hunt every year, my coworker takes petal athletics entirely too seriously so I hear all about those kids

For Alabama, easily the Bay Area followed by Birmingham metro. Montgomery is starting to make a comeback. The wire grass and black belt have been traditionally poor, prospect wise
