I think Auburn pays incoming players a cash bonus if they have legal/academic issues. I think the call it the Newtonian grant.

He might be the least exciting recruit we have committed at the moment.

I think he has all the talent in the world, but I am cooling on him right now. Jessel Curry was booted from the team for synthetic marijuana, so I am sure it will be a big deal to the coaches that Pike is messing with the stuff too. He will have to grow up a lot before college if he ever wants to see the field.

Let's be sure to call this kid a drug addict for the rest of his life...like Mallett.

Oh wait. Only one has any sort of documented rumor pertaining to drugs?

He just needs a little family.

the reason Mallett dropped so far in the draft isn't his supposed drug use. It was probably due to the fact that he's comes off as, and plays the game like he's the white Jamarcus Russell.

Did I bring up the draft at all?

The reason Mallett fell in the draft was entirely pertaining to his off field "issues."

Mallet got caught "smelling" like pot one time, dude. Much less of an offense than, say, the 4 Georgia RBs that got suspended this week or the Honey Badger & Co. You're judging Mallett based on his appearance, which is fine, because he looks like total WT. But, be fair.

It had nothing to do with that he came off in his interviews like a fricking idiot? I'm sure Russell did too except he was exceptionally better than Mallett on the field in college.
