I'd say UF's is the most impressive.

I tend to agree. Tennessee's romping of the 1995 Bama team is pretty impressive too. That wasn't a bad team. We lost 3 games that year, including to UT. The other two losses were by a combined 5 points.

Surprisingly even with the 78-0 shutout, our media guide still has Bama earning a national championship for that year.

It's amazing considering how many times they've played and how good Tennessee traditionally has been that their biggest UT margin of victory is only 27.

Yep... especially considering how bad Bama was in the 1950s and 2000s.

Bama holds more than any other team in the conference,
Well, other then Auburn. If I were being dishonest, I'd add LSU to the list, but I've noticed the Alabama schools getting away with it far more often then anyone else does.

Damn, 78-0? Is that the all-time worst loss of one SEC team to another conference member?

Bama players don't hold hardly at all. Just look at the records. I think, I could be wrong, that Alabama is the least penalized team for holding in the SEC, hell, maybe the nation.
So, I'm not sure why any sane person would believe that Alabama holds more than anyone.
See, what it really is, some people just don't understand what a block is and imagine it's a hold and then whine and cry about it on message boards.
They don't know the rules of football and don't know what maneuvers are and aren't allowed.
Some cry about it so much on message boards that it creates an impression for people who don't know any better, like you, that Alabama really does hold excessively.
They don't.

I guess I should tow the party line here for every other school in the SEC:
REC doing work!!!
SEC office is in Birmingham and run by Alabama.
Am I doing this right...LOL

Remember how up in arms the Bama fans were about his blatant hold. I mean people still post this pic and bitch about it to this day! Damn refs.

Hmm. Bamas largest blowout in history was to Vandy?
Largest blowout since 1998= Ark Razorbacks?

That wasn't a good team either. We struggled against a lot of inferior teams such as Vanderbilt (33-25), Southern Miss (24-20), LSU (10-3), and Mississippi State (14-9). I know a win is a win but the offense that season was so anemic it gives Shula's offenses a run for their money.

This game (20-7) was not the biggest blowout of Bama by Mizzou with our limited head-to-head experience. But it was the best win and dominate. It was 1975 in Birmingham. A rare Monday night game on national TV. I was a sophomore the night the Bear saw the Tiger's Tony Galbreath run the ball down the Tide D's throat. Mizzou's OL dominated. Mizzou's D dominated. For the game, Alabama rushed 34 times for just 31 yards.
Bama was 22-0 in regular season games in 1973-74 before the game. Then went 11-0 after Mizzou beat them. So, Bama was darn good.
Per The Tuscaloosa News, "It was no fluke. Missouri, a decisive underdog, lined up jaw-to-jaw with a national power and whipped it."
This win is ranked #45 on "Mizzou's Greatest" listing.

I was at that Florida game in '91. Brutal to watch. I remember that we had these incredibly short DBs and Spurrier just picked them apart.
