After seeing Tyler Ulis named a consensus All-American today, I was curious what each school's most recent is in football and basketball.

UK BB: Tyler Ulis (2016)
UK FB: Derek Abney (2002)

I think our last consensus for football was Eric Berry.2009

ETA; I was wrong, Evan Berry 2015 KR. I was right about it being a Berry tho.

God Bless the Berry family

Also, I think Cam Sutton was PR 2015.

Our last for basketball was Chris Lofton 2007

God I miss Chris Lofton

He was a man amongst boys. I really enjoyed watching him play.

Florida has never had a consensus All-American in basketball, surprisingly.

Bama had 4 consensus/unanimous AA's for football in 2015 -
A'Shawn Robinson,
Derrick Henry,
Reggie Ragland,
Ryan Kelley.

Checked a few places and all I saw were 2nd team AA's in basketball.

He didn't ask for your history. And were all 4 really consensus?

Were Evan and Cam not 1st Team All Americans this past season?

Really? I'm surprised Noah, Horford, or Brewer wasn't.

The 4 above were all consensus AAs in this past year and I think 3 were unanimous.

As for basketball, we have to go back to 1975 for our last and, I think, only consensus AA: Leon Douglas...

Damn, how was Neal Walk not a consensus AA? Walk led the NCAA with 19.8 rebounds a game and averaged 26.5 points per game his junior year.

I would've figured someone from Donovan's title teams would be consensus.

Damn, I would've figured McDyess or Sprewell would've been. We've had some decent NBA players from Bama when I was just a pup.
