Your pre-season thoughts for 2015

SEC
Alabama - tons of talent. Could easily win another national title or lose 3 regular season games. IMO, they have lost some of there "jam the ball down your throat toughness" they use to have the last couple of seasons. If they don't get that mojo back I have my doubts they will be playing in the national title game.
Auburn - once again the media ranks them high and we know how that usually turns out. Will history repeat again? We will find out the first week when they play Louisville.
Arky - do they take the next step? I think they do.
I do think the SEC is going to get the winner of the conference into the playoff depending on how other teams around the country do.
I think this is going to be Steve Spurrier's last season. I remember his face as clear as day when he had the "let's get this over with already" demolished look in the national title game against Nebraska but I also remember all of the fun that I had watching some of his great Florida teams. South Carolina is a hard place to win at and not winning a conference title at that school just goes to show that is a place where a coaching career dies.
Big 12
I do think TCU and Baylor will both have a legit shot at a national title. TCU winning the national title would be that rare title that comes once in a lifetime like the likes of Washington, Colorado and Georgia Tech.
Those two teams should dominate the Big 12. TCU isn't going to lose to MN on the road.
Baylor doesn't play anyone again in non-conference and I don't see why they shouldn't be undefeated heading into Nov. I predict they will be ranked in the top 5 by the committee heading into Nov.
I am interested in seeing how Oklahoma does this season. Do they rebound or not?

No doubt Ohio State is the team to beat this season. It is really hard to repeat and I think Ohio State does repeat and with comfortable ease. This would be the second time Urban repeats as a national champ. What an amazing accomplishment if he gets it done.
I think Michigan ends up in the top 25 in the final pool but in the low 20's.
PAC 12
Arizona State is going to have a great team as well as USCw. I know people have been saying USCw is getting too much hype this pre-season, but I think it is justified.
Oregon will win the conference and be back into the playoff again.
My playoff prediction:
Ohio State vs Alabama - Semifinal
TCU vs Oregon - Semifinal

No it would be the first time he has gone back to back...last time he tried he had medical problems

You know negraskafaninwi I don't totally understand why you're on an SEC forum so much but you usually have pretty quality posts and I enjoy reading them.

Urban is not going to repeat. He had terrible teams after both of his nattys at UF. He does better in the underdog role.

One of those three, yes, with a big favorite with Alabama heading into the season.
Arky needs to show they can pass the ball better and Auburn needs to show how much better they will be on defense.

Auburn needs to show how much better we are on defense but Bama doesn't? The only two offenses with a pulse shreaded their defense last year in Auburn and Ohio State.
