Would you want your school to fire this coach?

Halfway into his 4th year he has a record of 22-22 Overall & (7-19) in the SEC. Exactly half of his wins 11 are non power 5 teams. Would you want your school to fire this coach?

He inherited a complete shite show, and was probably the third best team in the conference by the end of last season.

Think they are close to holding him accountable for his lack of results. He gets one more year but needs to show something.

Also sounds like Mike Sherman, except Sherman was tied for the lead in his division at the end of his third season and beat both teams in the conference title game.

Yes, but as a Bama fan I'd want to fire a coach that has gone 1-whatever in SEC games at home in his last whatever amount of games, too.

I get that you like to post about Arkansas all the time, but this time I'll bite. I'm pretty sure after last night's showing and the 7-19 SEC record are starting to wear thin with more Hog fans. There really isn't any excuse for this. Houston Nutt was leaps and bounds better than this. Bret better get it figured out soon or he and Jeff Long are going to leave together.

Since we're all just shooting the shite, I wouldn't trade him I don't think for any of the other sec coaches outside of a younger Saban (he's great but he's got nothing left to prove). Butch hasn't beaten a west team yet,
what would our record be with him? Mcelwain may be ok but not sold more info needed, Kirby total crap shoot I'm fine letting someone else play, the rest nah. Gus I've never liked- however I didn't think was an idiot- but after watching him call the few games earlier in the season I question his mental state. Hugh's too sappy religious under investigationey for me, dan nah, Sumlin ok I guess but I don't see a real reason to covet. Is the conference overall lacking good coaching?
