Would you rather win the Final Four or College World Series

Saw this question posed on another team's board - of course winning the football title is the #1 goal of pretty much every athletic department not named Kentucky or Kansas but what is your #2 desire?
The board where this was posted, it seemed like a good majority of fans picked the College World Series.
I don't get the logic personally, first of all I guarantee you Georgia State probably got more national publicity by beating Baylor in the 1st round of the NCAA tournament than Vanderbilt did winning the College World Series last year.
Second, I looked up the ratings and 5x as many people watched Georgia State beat Baylor in that game at 2:00 on a Thursday Afternoon than the College World Series Game 3 in prime time last year.
And I have just mentioned 1st round NCAA tournament games. The Final Four? Tons of publicity and national respect. I bet making it that far in the NCAA tournament makes the school more money too. Duke-Wisconsin shattered ratings and viewership numbers in the final. You'd pass all that up to win the College World Series instead?
Lastly... conference realignment. When it comes time, I bet basketball could possibly help a school like an Iowa State. But a team like TCU? You really think that their baseball program will hold any leverage? A football-basketball punch is what a school needs for leverage, not football-baseball.

Natty's are always the correct answer as you win Natty's not Final Fours. Winning a Final Four probably gets you way more NCAA credit revenue than CWS tho.

Final Four and it's not close. Hell I'd rather when the WCWS than the CWS (softball is just better to watch on tv).

I'd rather win a championship than lose in the championship game - in any sports.

I personally prefer baseball, but I'd have to go with the basketball tournament championship. IMHO, it's the greatest tournament in college athletics, and LSU has never won it.

This is honestly the first I've heard of this. I didn't watch any games outside of LSU though other than UK vs Wisconsin.
I watched Vanderbilt win it all last year and I'm very envious of them. I recognized that I'm in a small minority though

Granted, the board is for a team that sucks in basketball and is good in baseball. But it was still a landslide
I'd link to it but the thread got whacked because it devolved into a racial argument, the pro-basketball posters saying the baseball posters hated the basketball program because of racism.
