Would Vandy win the East if they had LF?

If not, where do you think they would end up finishing in the East?

I think you could put LF on any team in the SEC and they would have a chance to win their respective division.

No, but they would with Chubb.

4th. Which is where they'll probably end up this year anyway.

They might stand a puncher's chance.

dont see how adding a backup RB would help UGA that much, but whatever

If Ga had LF, Chubb, and Sony, they would just wildcat every play.

Vandy wouldn't be as improved with LF as several other SEC teams would. That's because they already have a solid starting RB in Webb. IMO they'll be 4th either way.
(side note: it's interesting to note that despite the West's overall superiority at the moment, LF to Vandy would put all 3 of the league's best RB's in the East.)

No. Their OLine isn't good enough. Even with the debacle that was MU's line, Vandy averaged fewer yds per carry in conference play.

As someone said, LF isn't the piece Vandy would add from another team. HB is a position of strength, especially at starter. OL or a proven playmaker at WR would probably be the most impactful additions.
But to answer the OP, I think it makes 8-4 a really good possibility with the LF and Webb 1-2 punch. Anything more than that is conjecture about whether the line is good enough to open the holes for those 2 and if the passing game can keep other teams from putting 8 or 9 in the box in every play.

LSU wouldn't even win the East with Fournette, so what do you think

No , I don't know if LSU would even win the east this year with LF. I think Vandy would finish 3rd or 4th if he stayed healthy which they may do with out him. I think Chubb would help them more because of his style .

Not only the East, but the whole SEC and NC. Only team that he couldn't help win the SEC in general is LSU

Like others have said, LF is a great RB but Vandy needs a hell of a lot more than him to win the East.
A more interesting question is if UF had LF would they be picked to win the East over UT? My gut says no
