They can't go independent. They aren't a national brand. The huge LHN distribution problems showed that clear as day.

Texas is never going to leave their step children and easy schedule in the Big Dumpster Fire. No way they'd play Bama, LSU, and Auburn every year.

I hope so, but they have to leave the longhorn network to die.

It would be funny having two UT's in the same conference.

Also, a&m would get put in the shitter with the quickness once the longhorns have the SEC verbiage to sell recruits.

We would still need to add another team to balance the # of teams in the divisions.
