Would LSU fans still be "Crying a Chavis" if a better hire was made last year?

I highly doubt it. They know it's tough replacing Muschamp, Pelini, and Chavis. They know they're in for another year like 2008 and it's not sitting well with them. The foundation that Saban built could only last for so long. Les did a good job of maintaining the program, but has never been able to recruit a quality QB that could stay out of trouble. He's always relied on defense, but what do you do when you have a coach that got ran out of the ACC?
LSU fans remind me of Bama fans from 10 years ago. They had trouble accepting mid tier status too.

LSU is fine buddy. You need to focus on getting your cellar dweller of a program back to competitive status.
