No

There are possible scenarios that can get a non-SEC-champion one-loss LSU team in the playoffs as well

How the hell are they going to win the SEC Championship with a loss to Arkansas?

LSU would've gotten a rematch in 2011 had the 9-6 game gone the other way. They had a better chance than Bama in fact.

If Ole Miss wins the SEC with 2 losses then y'all might as well hang it up. The SEC won't get into the CFB Playoff.

Yes, I believe they would.

Because if Ole Miss finishes 11-2, they'd not only be SEC Champions but they'd have wins over Alabama, LSU, and Florida.

Their one conference loss would have been on the road in Gainesville, and they would have rectified it by beating them in Atlanta.

The only reason Ole Miss would have the second loss is because they played on the road at a team that could very well be in the Top 10 at the end of the season. Their first loss would have been on the road against the SEC East Champion... a much tougher Eastern opponent that Alabama played all season.

I think this and the fact Ole Miss beat them in Tuscaloosa would send Ole Miss to the playoff. They proved last year they value conference championships.

How many times have we all heard, "If you can't win your division, you don't belong in the Championship Game." ? Well this fits that common complaint.

Y'all keep pushing this like maybe we think we can afford to lose one. Sorry, bruh. Bama has LSU's full attention.

The committee that pays you is tied to marketing. Who do you choose? all you have to do is follow the money. Why do you think Notre Dame made it the NC game against Alabama when they clearly had no business being in that game.

Probably so. If Ole Miss has 11 and Alabama has 11 and Ole Miss beat Alabama and has a conference title why wouldn't they?

Don't forgot Ole Miss would beat Florida, one of the two teams that beat them earlier, to win an SECCG. That helps greatly.

13-0 Memphis would have a hell of an argument over Ole Miss though.

No, the reason I said is because I anticipated, based on consistent experience with LSU fans, that OP would whine about the unfairness of it

Shite dude. I should hope so. You say that like anyone thought that was a possibility. There isn't a player on your team who has beaten Bama so I would imagine none of them would overlook a team like that. On top of that, it's your first real game away from home all year and it's against a top ten team.
