If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. But I'm not judging Chaney on a year with a freshman qb who has never played under center before and with a line that can't get a push against Nichols St.

My guess would be nussmeier or roper.

Gus Malzahn. Did anyone else in the nation decide a fullback twirl-action dive run is a good play besides Gus? Then did anyone else add a play-action pass to this abortion of a concept to run against the #1 defense in the land? I rest my case.

Jim Chaney. Robb Smith has been moving up the ranks. Considering how much the Arkansas defense regressed from last year and throughout the season, I'm not surprised he's not at the top of the list.

Roper. He took a SC offense that was ranked 101 in the country in 2015...a season where the HC quit mid season, the starting qb was a 5'10" walkon and the team played an extra road game at LSU because Columbia was dealing with a 500 year flood......and Roper somehow made the offense worse in 2016 with a ranking of 120 (FBS game stats).

I know some UF fans might say give Roper a break, he improved the UF offense in his one year there, but Roper improved UF to only a 97 national ranking statistically in 2014. This was an improvement of only 41 YPG from UF's 2013 offense but in 2013 UF lost two starting qb's, starting RB, and 3 offensive tackles....those injuries would devestate most any offense......did Roper really improve UF's offense?

So Muschamp brings Roper to SC after Roper spent a year in QC with the worst franchise in the NFL (Roper was obviously not in demand) and Roper proceeds to somehow make a horrid offense worse.

Hidden in the biggest win of SC's 2016 season is the fact that UT's defense gave up only 325 yards to SC. That was UT's best defensive performance against any Power 5 school.....only App St., UT-C and Ohio U. had less yards against UT. After the "great" defensive performance against SC, the UT defense gave up 600+ yards to UK, 700+ to Mizzou and 600+ to Vandy. Even in SC's biggest win of the season the overall stats show Roper's offense was bad even against bad defenses.

So as bad as UT's DC may be, he had his best Power 5 game against Roper.

Jim "the buffet and drive killer" Chaney

He sucks, bad, but there is absolutely no way he is 28/28 in the SEC as far as coordinator rankings go.

You clearly know nothing about LSU football so just don't comment on it. You make yourself look even more stupid than you already are.

Does anyone else have a coordinater that was so bad that the head coach took over his duties? If not the answer is DJ Elliot.

I know there was some sarcasm in your post but SC started 7 freshman and sophomores on offense and so did Mizzou. SC and Mizzou both had new HC's and OC's. Roper took a bad SC offense and made it worse. Look where Mizzou's offense was last year and where it is now.....I'd be happy if Roper could have been 1/3 as successful.
