How exactly is this "rewriting history" when the "history" hasn't even happened yet?

Why is this so hard to believe? Any reasonable observer knows Bama wasn't winning that game in overtime.
I was and still am pissed at Cyrus Jones giving up the tying TD. I'm still pissed at Saban stubbornly trying to run for short yardage despite getting stoned all night. I'm still pissed that Cade Foster spent his whole career costing Bama games by missing every single important FG he ever attempted.
But the kick 6? I was laughing out loud before he crossed midfield.

No. Losing the game bothered me.
Losing it on a returned FG was simply an appropriate ending for the choke job put on by Bama earlier in the evening.

I think it's B as well. With the exception of 2013 can any LSU fan honestly say their defense hasn't been carrying them since 2009?
Few if any are saying it but remember that street goes both ways. The Tigers consistently rank amongst the top rushing teams in the SEC which certainly lends itself to time of possession which lends itself to preserving the stamina of the defense. I've a feeling Chief will wind up missing this against the better defenses aTm plays.
There's also no reason to believe the defense won't be just as good as usual(remember that with the exception of one season, the Tiger defense ranked in the top 20 in the country for years prior to Chavis also. Throw in the addition of two dynamite recruiters and the loss of Chavis and Haley would appear to be negated; easy for some who set so much store in recruiting to think they might be better off. Certainly not in the category of rewriting history when the first game without Chavis has yet to be played. Poor choice for the list.
