One of my all time favorite Bama players. He lived near me and coached some friends' kids in peewee football. I never met anyone that had anything bad to say about him.

ALS has to be one of the worst ways to go, prayers sent. But serious question, as I really don't know, how has Stephen Hawking been able to live with this disease for half a century now? Everyone I've ever known to have had this disease didn't live much longer than 5 years or so.

Prayers to his family and Tide Nation. I think about the human condition, what people I love are currently dealing with, and I wonder how we all get on with life every day. So much struggle and sadness.
