With two seasons under his belt at A&M, what's the verdict on Chavis?

Chief was heralded as the architect of some of great LSU defenses during his time there from 2009 to 2014 and was compensated very well for such. He left LSU after the 2014 season and went on to orchestrate two Aggie defenses in 2015 and 2016.

A&M was 28th in scoring defense in 2015 after being 77th in 2014 under Sny_er and they were 39th in 2016. What do you think, Aggie fans? Has he lived up to the expectations or not? Have you seen improvement in any particular position group? Has his arrival changed recruiting any?

This is not meant to be a troll even though I am an LSU fan. We had to suffer through Steele because Chief left us and some are still salty about that even with Aranda's arrival.

DBs improved but LBers (chiefs unit) are still shite. the defense as a whole has not improved enough and thats why you started this thread.

Texas A&M stole one coach and one recruit from LSU and yall have been acting pissy about both ever since.

for as much as yall hate the longhorns, yall are basically dumbed down version of them which is funny cause you are actually an A&M school.

Didn't y'all sign a high 4 star guy this year? I think the trend might be bucked this year.

I'll be honest in saying that I don't watch many A&M games and yeah, they look like shite against LSU, but I don't know what they look like against everyone else. Stats can lie at times.

It's a rivalry dating back over 20 years.

1.sure, anthony hines had more offers than any other prospect ever. hes still just a freshman and LBer will be a weak spot on defense.

2. rivlary dates back much further if you want to be serious, you dont though

3. you know exactly what i meant when i posted it. Texas > LA in every facet and thats why most of your grads infiltrate this great state .

LSU dominated A&M until the 90s

You are awfully salty about a thread that seemed to be legitimate

Did you just find out an LSU transplant in Houston stole your girl?

Just calm down and call a yell leader, he will make you feel better

I don't miss him. I think he's washed up. For Christ sake he let LSU pass 50 points 5 days after the UF shite

So far in this thread A&M fans have compared Chavis first two seasons as Texas > LA and A&M is in our heads.

Chief's verdict is any day that you don't wake up in Baton Rouge is a good day.
