Will LSU's financial woes lead it to #lexit?

Why are LSU folks so eager to get rid of folks. Fear of competition?

I am slightly torn in this issue. On one hand, I fully support your exit if the country continues to devolve as it has. On the other, I will miss the rent a win.

Their economy would spiral out of control -- the secessionists are deeply ignorant about the benefits the state gets from free trade, governmental protection (military, infrastructure, etc), and ability to take advantage of the U.S. economic structure -- and they wouldn't be able to hire Saban for lack of funds. It would be a disaster.

Besides, I like the Aggies. They piss people off and bring some much-needed eccentricity that we've been missing since Sewanee left.

There exist multiple analyses about the possible economic impact of Texas seccession; the data are much more intriguing than many care to realize.
Suffice it to say people who say Texas couldn't do it are no more knowledgeable about the future than are those of us who say, heck yeah we can go it alone.

I'll save my thoughts on this topic for the political board; but like I said earlier, we'll always leave the light on for legal friends and visitors.

The discussion will just have to end here, I think. I don't go to the political board for any reason because I've long since learned that hearing peoples' political opinions is the quickest way to destroy all my hard-won faith in humanity.

Texas is full of stupid people and that would be an all time stupid move

I hope they do it. Texas can go frick off as far as I'm concerned.
