bring me another conference coach that has multiple SEC titles, a National championship and averages 10 wins a season.

Saban has done all that at LSU and Bama.

Yes, but its tradition now. What would we do without this and the weekly we should kick out A&M/Missouri threads? Until football season gets going again these threads are our version of reruns. You know how its going to end and what everyone is going to say but if nothing else is on you might as well watch it.

Miles was very nearly fired last year.

That being said, you really are hard pressed to make an argument that outside of Saban, there's a better coach in this conference right now. If Miles had any semblance of consistent QB play this wouldn't even be a question.

And I would have said Freeze but it looks as though he may well have benefited from buying players, so that puts a big old asterisk by his name.

Not sure what you think Smart has done to be at that ranking. Please elaborate?

Not sure Miles is second. It's certainly not "clear cut". That Mullen gets a ton out of the hand he's dealt. Brett is a good one too.

11 years at 10 wins per. 11 years, never lost a regular season ooc game. 11 years never lost a game to Aggie. All that despite Miles horrible coaching skills. How truly incredible is that!

So the man responsible for the entire program, including gathering the players and coaching staff, gets zero credit for the 10+ victories per season for more than a decade but all of the blame for their losses? OK, got that, Mr. Alleva.

Go back and look at the Auburn posts regarding GC starting the very next season after winning a NC. Every fanbase has their cooks. The majority of LSU nation did not want Les to leave. Now if you want to replace the so-called leadership above him...well we can sure talk about that.
